3. Dyatlov Pass incident. In 1959, nine ski hikers went missing on their journey. When they were discovered nearly a month later, searchers found that their tents had been cut from the inside, some were found yards away in only their undergarments, and one had a missing tongue. Some theorists believe one of the hikers tried to light a fire, which got out of control and prompted the others to flee in the middle of the night with whatever they had on. Any signs of trauma were a result of decomposition and extreme cold. Others believe it’s paranormal. No one knows what happened for sure.
