25 People Who Quit Their Jobs With Style

So here’s the thing, unless you’ve been blessed with the luck of the devil, then you’ve held a terrible job at some point or other. Funny thing is, usually it’s not the work itself that makes the job unbearable, but the people you work with (or for) that have you fantasizing about your dramatic exit. Today we’ve brought you a collection of folks who have turned their dreams into a reality. Not all of them hated their jobs, but they all managed to make a splendid exit. Hopefully, their stories will get you through the day:

1) The first one we’ll bring you is pleasant enough. Chris Holmes didn’t leave angrily, he just left because he realized that he needed to move on and live his most meaningful life. He delivered his resignation letter on a cake and it read: “To The Management, Border Force, Stansted: Today is my 31st birthday, and having recently become a father I now realize how precious life is and how important it is to spend my time doing something that makes me, and other people, happy. For that reason, I hereby give notice of my resignation, in order that I may devote my time and energy to my family, and to my cake business which has grown steadily over the past few years. I wish the organization and my colleagues the best for the future and I remind you that, if you enjoy this cake, you can order more at www.mrcake.co.uk”

2) Things weren’t as peachy with these store managers when they decided to up and quit because of the horrible mistreatment they’ve sustained at the hands of Jaime (who we assume is the general manager). The manager, co-manager, and key holder all quit during after school season – one of the busiest seasons of the year for retail!
