Actor, writer, director, comedian, and musician Donald Glover has been taking the world by storm over the past couple of years. Most of us know him from his music, under the stage name Childish Gambino, but some of us know him from TV shows and films. His most well-known TV show is FX’s Atlanta, and fans may also know him from the series Community. We will also be seeing him on May 25 in Solo: A Stars Wars Story. 1. Not Related To Danny Glover: We know they have the same last name, but Donald and Danny have no relation to one another. Parade states that there is no relation between the two actors. Donald was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia by his mother, Beverly, who was a daycare worker and his father, Donald Glover Sr., a postal worker.
2. He Was Labeled As One Of TIME’s “100 Most Influential People” In 2017: Donald was given this honor of being included in TIME’s annual list of the 100 most influential people. The write up about him in TIME for the issue was done by his previous boss Tina Fey. She wrote: “He embodies his generation’s belief that people can be whatever they want and change what it is they want, at any time.” That is pretty influential is you ask any of us.
