3. Life Imitating Art: Actor Matt LeBlanc dislocated his shoulder when acting out one scene in which he raced toward the comfy chair when his character, Joey, was fighting with Chandler. LeBlanc said, “I put my arm up to break my fall and just exploded my shoulder.” Once LeBlanc got a sling on to help heal his shoulder it had to be written into the script. They ended up blaming Joey’s dislocation on him jumping on the bed in the plot.
