Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Bathing Suits Are A Thing Now

If you’ve ever been swimming and thought, “this would be so much better if only I can have the face of a Royal stamped on my bathing suit” then this piece of totally relevant news will surely please you. Bags of Love, a British business, creates unique personalized products from photos and designs that they receive from customers. That’s right: it means that you can get just about anything emblazoned on any item of clothing. That includes members of the royal family.

The company is using photos of the royal couple to demonstrate the full potential of their printing services and the degree to which you can personalize your products. Their entire operation is rather impressive. They are able to create the product that you need and then print whichever image you want onto it. The company lets its customers upload images to design their own products and to show the world what that looks like, they decided to dress their swimwear models in bathing suits with zoomed-in images of the new Royal couple right smack dab in the center.

Is it weird? Having anyone’s face on a bathing suit is a little creepy. Especially since swimsuits are essentially pieces of cloth that cover your private areas. But, of course, as with all things Royal, this product is bound to find its consumer base. In fact, according to Bags of Love public relations manager Ekaterina Vankova, the demand for the Royal swimsuit is “massive and keeps growing.” This is not entirely surprising given the recent Royal-wedding mania. In fact, according to Vankova, the royal frenzy is the reason why the company decided to use the royals’ faces as examples for their bathing suits.

In an email to Huffington Post, Vankova writes, “Nothing like printing the face of a Prince or Duchess on a swimming costume and rocking it proudly on the beach.” She’s right, there’s nothing quite like it and if you’re really trying to stand out, this might be the way to go about it. Don’t be shocked if this is the newest trend to hit swimwear fashion. Of course, there are a plethora of other ways to catch people’s eyes than to wear a swimsuit with a royal’s face printed on it.

The bathing suits have interesting placement, especially the Prince Harry bathing suit. When asked about Prince Harry’s beard, Vankova said, “Based here, in London, we fully support [the] royal heir.” Hilarious. The Prince Harry suit is especially frightening and it has nothing to do with his facial hair either.

She also added, “We believe our choice of placement [for] Harry’s beard reflects our thoughts on accepting the body too, on accepting who you are.” So, rest assured, this was not a printing error.

Well, there you have it, folks. If you’d like your very own Royal swimsuit, they go for $38 if you’d like to sew it for yourself for whatever reason. They come ready to wear for $51. Purchase your swimsuit over at BagsofLove.ca, go out there, and freak everyone out.
