But one thing that is certain is that the pharmaceutical industries thrive off people suffering from anxiety, with 65% of North Americans taking prescription medication daily and 43% taking mood regulators on the regular.

One method that has proven to be very effective is music therapy. Although it has had some success, neuroscientists in the UK say they have found the perfect song for those who suffer from anxiety.

According to Dr. David Lewis-Hodgson of Minilab International, the study his team conducted showed that this song managed to increase the rate of relaxation in the subjects more than any other music they have tested to date.

The name of the song is Weightless and was created by Marconi Union. The song has such an effect on the participants that Dr. Lewis-Hodgson had to instruct them not to listen to it while driving.
