Move over, Tartar Sauce, there’s a new Grumpy Cat in town! The furry white feline Tartar Sauce became an international viral sensation after being branded the grumpiest cat in all the land, however, this Sphinx cat named Loki might have just dethroned Tartar Sauce.
Sphynx cats are not actually bald, but according to MentalFloss, “If you pet one, however, you’ll discover they’re not actually hairless. Sphinxes are covered with a fine layer of downy fuzz. While they’re not plush to the touch, their coats feel akin to suede.” Loki’s owners, Brent Erickson and Sara Kjelsvig couldn’t be happier with their feline companion.
Don’t let his angry expression fool you. Sphynx cats are actually very affectionate creatures. According to cattime.com, “It’s a good thing that the Sphynx loves attention because he draws it wherever he goes. He is demanding of human attention and will do anything for a laugh. “Look at me!” is his catchphrase. That makes him easy to handle by veterinarians or anyone else, and it’s not unusual for a Sphynx to be a therapy cat since he is so fond of meeting people.” Loki has his own Instagram account @loki_the_sphynx and we’ve decided that Sphynx cats might just be the more adorable cats ever. Here we see Loki in all his angry glory with his owner Sara Kjelsvig. Often her owners dress up Loki in fun fuzzy outfits or sweaters to keep him warm, as he’s nearly hairless he might get cold in the winter months. Loki currently lives in New York City with his owners!
Loki is totally rocking this adorable fuzzy rainbow coat, however, he looks none-too-pleased about it. Poor kitty is so angry!
Sleepy Loki kitty is super sleepy in this photo. His yawn makes him look content as he snuggles under the covers, but if you were to caption this picture, it might read something like “get me out of this sweater!”
Here Loki is being snuggled by his other owner Brent Erickson, but unfortunately, Loki doesn’t look keen or happy about the whole experience. Poor kitty cat!
Oh my goodness, it’s a pumpkin kitty! Look at how adorable Loki is in this hilarious Halloween costume? Honestly, what’s not to love about this hysterical pumpkin outfit?
Loki looks completely annoyed with the entire world in this photo. What’s more likely is that he’s about to sneeze, but it gives the illusion that he’s just so sick and tired of everything! This look, paired with Loki’s already wrinkly angry expression is just absolutely hilarious. What a funny-looking kitty cat!
Here Loki pulls off no stops in giving the camera his best “I hate everything” face. He’s dressed up in a nice little sweater that’s mustard coloured, which, let’s face it, is absolutely fabulous. This kitty knows his fashion thanks to his kind and caring owners.
Finally, we have the best angry look for Loki the sphinx as he wears a tiny hoodie and gives us the angriest expression of his life. He looks like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi here or something. Poor kitty is so angry about everything!
