Tattoo Addict Inks Entire Body Including Eyeballs And The Inside Of His Mouth

Elishah Lux, who sometimes goes by Eli Ink, is a 27-year-old tattoo artist from Britain who entered into the mainstream after tattooing his entire body a jet black ink and also dying his eyeballs and lips as well. The 27 year old from Brighton says that he views his body as an artwork and as a form of ‘pure expression.’ As reported by The Mirror, Eli has spent the last ten years of his life tattooing his entire body a dark black ink.

Eli now has large stretchers in his nose as well as in his lower lip to stretch them out into unusual shapes. Eli has multiple layers of blank ink on his body and his goal now is to add designs onto the black canvas to emulate Picasso’s work. In an interview with The Sun, Eli said: ‘I’ve always been blown away by art itself. Picasso is a huge childhood inspiration to me, especially abstract art, but I do like all forms of art. Body art was just the next logical step for me growing up. I wanted to look like an abstract character in one of Picasso’s paintings. I love the abstract look, no thought, just pure expression.’

Eli now also has the whites of his eyeballs tattooed black and that procedure involves injecting ink into the two layers of the sleral of the eye and waiting for it to spread out. Eli, who is a tattoo artist, admits that the procedure is extremely dangerous and risky.

In an interview with Mail Online, Eli said: ‘that’s the risk you take letting anyone near your eyes, even trained surgeons can make mistakes. Body modification is a risk-taker’s lifestyle.’ Eli says that his girlfriend, who is also a body-modification enthusiast, says that she is ‘madly in love’ with his body.

Eli said: ‘the best is always nice compliments, that’s always nice to hear, either from tattoo collectors or just passers-by, the worst is always older generations looking down on you and making you feel worthless.’

Before undergoing his drastic transformation, Eli was self employed and ran his own gardening company. It was only during his free time where he would experiment with drawing and painting. Eli said that later in his life he became a full time tattoo artist and began to become immersed in the body modification subculture.

Eli said: ‘I will never be finished. It will take me the rest of my life to finish my studies but I am dedicating the rest of my life to body modification and perfecting my work.’
