Australian Cosplayer Remarkably Transforms Herself Into Stunning Fictional Characters

Australian cosplayer Nichameleon (as she is known on Instagram) is known for her stunning transformations into iconic characters from film, television, and video games. The Australian cosplayer is known to dress up as people and monsters from popular culture, showing off her skills on her Instagram page and at various conventions.

This talented Australian cosplayer has turned into iconic characters such as Black Widow, Harley Quinn, and even Zubat from the Pokemon series. Her talent is in embodying the characters’ personality as well as their well-known appearances. She writes on her Patreon page: “I absolutely love making and creating cosplays, bringing characters I love and admire to life! (And maybe burning my fingers with a hot glue gun in the process…okay definitely doing that).”

These are just some of Nichameleon’s best costumes, collected from her Instagram page. She is not only an amazing costume artist but also appears to be having a lot of fun doing what she does. She is ambitious about her future as a cosplayer, writing on her Patreon page, “I really want to get into my videos and YouTube, more and BIGGER cosplays with the chance to develop my skills and to try out all kinds of constructions and creations!”

Here, Nichameleon shows off her look as Natasha Romanov aka Black Widow from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She looks ready to fight some bad guys!

The crafty Australian cosplayer used body paint to create her look as Violet Parr from The Incredibles. The forcefields were probably added in later.

Here, Nichameleon not only captures the look of Rey from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but also her steely gaze and attitude.

How about dressing up as Harley Quinn from the Batman animated series? The cartoonish mallet is a nice touch, as is the deranged look on her face.

This Samus Aran costume based on Nintendo’s Metroid series is spot on. Even the hair is perfect. Nichameleon smartly utilizes wigs whenever she has to.

Nichameleon shows some love to the Avengers by cosplaying as a gender-bending Dr. Strange. The details on the cape and the glowing amulet are really what sell this photo.

Remember the movie Sucker Punch? It’s okay if you don’t, but you’d still have to admit that this Baby Doll outfit from the film is pretty accurate.

Prepare for trouble, and make it double because this Jessie from Team Rocket cosplay is pretty great. Any kid who grew up in the 90s can appreciate the look on display here.

Speaking of Pokemon, remember when you’d be walking through the cave at Mount Moon and every three or four steps you’d run into an annoying zubat? That was the worst.

Here Nichameleon does a modern hipster twist on Ariel from The Little Mermaid, showing that she is just as good at twisting iconic characters as she is at recreating them.

The Disney looks continue with everyone’s favorite fairy from Neverland: Tinkerbell. Nichameleon even nails down the mischievous smile that Tinkerbell is known for.

Clearly, Nichameleon is a fan of Batman: The Animated Series, as that is the Catwoman look she opts for, over Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Anne Hathaway. Good choice!
