Mixed martial arts introduced weight to ensure that fights were fair and matched evenly. However, still from the early days of the sports to now, MMA has seen some incredibly mismatched bouts that are so crazy you have to see them to believe them.

The MMA enthusiasts over at The Montage King have created a follow up compilation to their original ‘Biggest Mismatches in MMA’ video with a collection of even bigger and crazier mismatches that have taken place in the world of mixed martial arts.

Highlighting fights where an opponent was grossly overmatched by either size, strength, or skill, these are some wildly mismatched mixed martial arts bouts that probably should have never even happened.

Despite these bouts being incredibly mismatched, some prove to still have a surprising results while others play out exactly as one would expect them to.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship introduced two weight classes back at UFC 12: heavyweight and lightweight.

Now the Unified Rules designate limits for ten different weight classes in mixed martial arts, with the most recent being the strawweight class, which was added in 2015.
