Desperate Email Plea From Harvey Weinstein To Friends And Colleagues Is Leaked Online

In the past week, a startling revelation about Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was released by the New York Times. It has been reported that 8 women came forward with allegations of sexual assault and that they later settled out of court. Since this announcement, dozens of celebrities have taken to social media to report on their own interactions with the media mogul.

Harvey Weinstein was granted a leave of absence from The Weinstein Company, but this leave was not to last, as a statement issued from the board of directors made it clear that Harvey was to be let go. The sexual harassment and assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein span several decades.

Now, an alleged leaked email from Harvey himself has been circulating through Twitter about his release from the company he co-founded. It is reported that the letter was sent to board members before their decision was made. It is clear from this alleged letter that Harvey Weinstein’s plea acknowledged some of these allegations, and even goes so far as to suggest his entrance to a rehab facility. When the news of the scandal broke, Harvey made an apologetic statement in the New York Post, saying “I have got to change, I’ve got to grow… I know a lot of people would like me to go into a facility.”

Many celebrities, including Angelina Jolie, Rose McGowan, Kate Beckinsale, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cara Delevingne, Ashley Judd, Heather Graham, and a dozen more have spoken out against Harvey Weinstein, going on record to share their own personal accounts of harassment from the man. The letter written to the board has been circulated by several high-profile names and news outlets on Twitter, showcasing Weinstein’s alleged pleas to his former company.

It is not yet clear how these allegations will affect Harvey Weinstein, but the board of directors for the Weinstein Company felt it was in their best interests to let him go.

Weinstein is responsible for producing several notable films, and launching careers along with them, including Pulp Fiction, Gangs of New York, The English Patient, Scream, Shakespeare in Love, and The Cider House Rules.

The Weinstein scandal has also sparked a domino effect in Hollywood, as more celebrities seem to be coming forward with their own stories of harassment and assault from different big names in the business.
