Celebrities React To Eminem’s Takedown Of Trump

A lot of us who are fans of Eminem isn’t so surprised that he wouldn’t like President Trump. His rap during Tuesday night’s BET Hip-Hop Awards just confirmed that. The artist slammed the President for policies that he considers harmful to America.

On top of that, Eminem had a few words for his fans that voted for Trump in the 2016 elections. The rapper said that “Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his/I’m drawing in the sand a line/You’re either for or against…”.

Trump, who previously called Eminem “a winner” has yet to respond to Eminem. So while social media is waiting for the President to respond, there were plenty of celebs, including Lebron James, who turned to Twitter to react to the rapper’s powerful rap.

In the rap, Eminem calls Trump out on a number of things, such as ignoring tragedies in favour of “causing a Twitter storm” to “support for the Klansman.”

He also refers to Trump as “this racist 94-year-old grandpa” in the four-minute-and-34-second long video that was filmed in a parking garage in Eminem’s home city.

Lebron tweeted, “Racism is the only thing he’s Fantastic 4 (fantastic for),” along with an image of The Thing, the orange rocky fictional superhero.

Ellen Degeneres kept her tweet short and sweet, including a heart emoji in her tweet. She simply confessed her love for the rapper and his message.

Former NFL player Colin Kaepernick also chimed in after Eminem picked up on Trump’s feud with NFL players who kneel during the national anthem in protest of racial injustice. He tweeted, “I appreciate you, Eminem.”

Other rappers also had something to say about Eminem’s rap. T-pain wrote, “Protect Eminem at all cost” while J. Cole tweeted out “Whoa. Rap God. @Eminem thank you. Potentttt.”

Even those who don’t particularly enjoy listening to rap music have now become fans of Eminem. Keith Olbermann tweeted, “After 27 years of doubts about rap I am now an @Eminem fan. Best political writing of the year, period.”

Regardless if you are a fan or not, there’s no denying that Eminem’s rap has impacted a ton of people on the internet. It’s been a hit all week on Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram.
