Meghan Markle’s Sister Is Writing A Revealing Memoir About Her Sister Called ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister’

Before all of the ‘royal hype’ following her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle came from humble beginnings and a dear family of her own. Though she’s destined to become the newest part of the Royal Family, it’s important to consider the roots from which she stemmed from.

Just a decade ago, Meghan found herself as a “briefcase girl” on the renowned game show Deal Or No Deal. She then took her acting career in the direction of the courtroom, playing Rachel Zane on Suits for a respectable seven seasons. Having already gotten a taste of the limelight, the American actress is no stranger to the towering attention.

Stepping away from the lights, camera, and action, Markle was raised in Southern California, by two loving parents. The only child of Tom Markle, and African American born Doria Radlan, she grew up with two half-siblings from her father’s first marriage. Though how active they were in her life is in question, at a time like this, we inevitably begin to further find out.

Samantha Grant, 17 years older than Meghan, is a former actress and model who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, leaving her in a wheelchair. Upon the reveal of Meghan and Prince Harry’s romance, the half-sister began to make some questionable comments to the media, calling her a “shallow social climber” who “is not fit to be a member of the Royal Family”, which is quite rash to presume. She also accused Meghan of not assisting her financially, claiming “I didn’t feel a separation from her until I was in a wheelchair. The more high profile she became, she never mentioned me.” Interesting to utter, upon the revealing memoir she is currently writing about her sister.

According to Grant’s twitter feed, the book will be titled The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister. We can’t help but be faced with curiosity and questions. “Well, it is true that I’m writing a book and the title is accurate, what is not true (is) this unbelievable swell that’s been created that it’s some sort of slamming ‘tell-all’” Samantha said in an interview with Good Morning Britain. Inevitably, this sparked some reactions from the Twitterverse, with people viewing this as a “cash grab” and “money-grabbing leech.” Considering the circumstances, we can’t help but wonder what the intention of this memoir truly is.

Samantha claims that this isn’t an attack towards her sister and that it’s more of a “beautiful, warm, witty story of our lives and my life,” though it’s uncertain how present she was in Meghan’s past. A report from E! News back in April suggests that due to the age gap, they were never even raised in the same house. It’s compelling to see what exactly it is that we will find in this memoir.

Publicly stating her excitement and pride for her sister at this time, we can’t help but wonder what the idea behind this book is all about, and where she stands in the life of the future princess (or, more accurately and according to Royal experts, the Duchess of Sussex). Having an evidently mixed take on Meghan, a memoir to follow will undoubtedly be an intriguing read. There’s no telling what it is that will be revealed or said, but it will certainly keep us curious leading up to the ongoing anticipation of the Royal Wedding.
