Princess Diana was more than just a royal figure in the royal family. Diana was renowned for her humanitarian efforts and her ability to lead ‘from the heart and not from the head.’ She was also known for her great sense of fashion and also for her role as a doting mother. But besides her royal duties and her role as a mother, Diana also loved to dance.
On the eve of the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death, many documentaries were unveiled discussing her life.
Although her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, fondly remembered their mother in these videos, it is little Princess Charlotte that shows a stark resemblance to her grandmother.
Princess Charlotte was born on May 2nd, 2015 and she is the second child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. She is also the fourth in line to the British throne.
Princess Charlotte, at the tender age of 2, seems to have picked out a new hobby that she has shown an affinity.
According to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, Princess Charlotte just loves to dance. Although Charlotte has never met her grandmother she seems to be carrying some of Diana’s characteristics.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is the princess’ full name and it is intended to honour both Princess Diana and her great-grandmother, the Queen.
The tradition is further honoured when Kate and William decided to dress Charlotte in the same red shoes that Diana dressed Harry in when he was just a boy.
But it is Charlotte’s love of dancing that has members of the Royal family reminiscing on Princess Diana.
Diana was known for her love of dancing and according to Prince William, Diana owned an extensive music collection that ranged from tap, modern, and ballet all the way to jazz.
Furthermore, Diana studied multiple types of dance as a child and she is even pictured dancing in the White House with John Travolta. Maybe that explains why Charlotte loves to dance at such an early age.
