This magical place costs less than most one-bedroom apartments in London and yet no one has snatched it up. The property has been on the market for more than a year now in Hidden Valley, Washington. The price has dropped from $825,000 to $775,000. And considering how downright magical this place is, that’s pretty much a steal.
We suppose the only downside to living here would be your height, as it’s a pretty squat and cramped space (fit for Dwarves, right?). This cottage is eclectic in every way from its lack of sharp angles, a curvy roof that almost extends down to the floor, and snaking tiles with wobbly lines.
The kitchen in this cottage holds a very cool feature–a tree trunk with an arch carved right into it so you can come and go as you please.
There’s also a beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling to break up all the rustic aesthetic.
This cottage’s kitchen also features a unique but traditional stove. It definitely looks like something out of Hansel and Gretel.
The rest of the cottage has beautifully exposed stonework and each door was hand built with “extensive ironwork”. All wooden beams are hand carved and there are glass-stained windows all around.
All of the wooden beams in the house were hand carved and the walls were crafted to look like they belong in a magical cave. Even the bed is built into the ‘cave’ wall.
The cottage holds four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, making it the perfect family getaway.
