For Tom Brady, he was looking to cement his legacy as the greatest quarterback of all time, and it’s only natural that it was an emotional defeat for him. Following the loss, his wife, Gisele Bundchen, posted an intimate photo tribute to her husband crying during postgame.
The Brazilian supermodel took to Instagram to share a family photo where Brady is in obvious distress after suffering a late-game loss to a relentless Eagles offence that was consistent all game. Despite the loss, Brady broke the record for most passing yards in a game in NFL history, further justifying his title as the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time).
It wasn’t just an emotional night for the star quarterback, but his children as well, as they were seen crying after the game, too. Trying to explain the loss to her children, Gisele told USA Today that upon her daughter exclaiming that the Eagles won, she said: “Just this time. Daddy won five times. They never won before.”
Furthermore, the mother of three demonstrated her good sportsmanship, setting an example by telling her children: “You have to let someone else win sometimes.”

Luckily, he has a wonderful family, and a comforting wife, who all were there for him when he needed it.
After recently making the news for a questionably long kiss on his 11-year-old-son’s lips, and dressing up in a way that resembled Melania Trump, Tom Brady was looking to catch a break this time and bring home his record-high sixth Super Bowl ring. The five-time champion will have to wait longer to achieve that.
The 52nd Super Bowl undoubtedly will rank as one of the greatest of our generation, with a masterful display by both organizations, and a storybook ending that sports enthusiast could appreciate.
