We all fell in love with Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell back when she revealed her obsession with sloths on the Ellen Degeneres Show. I mean, she was balling her eyes out from excitement and her loving husband was loving every minute of it. Since then, the two have been appearing on the show quite a bit, and let’s just say it’s never a dull moment with the two of them.

People just love them individually, as a couple and as parents. They just always seem to make fans laugh. They are truly couple goals. Currently, Kirsten is hosting a web series called “Momsplaining”, where the actress talks all things related to motherhood! On the latest episode, she decided to open up about one of her life instances where Dax saved her from getting a serious infection.
In the latest episode, Kristen has a sit down with “Scandal” star Katie Lowes. The two talk about everything, including mastitis. Mastitis is essentially a painful infection that happens when women are breastfeeding, and they get clogged milk in their breast. Breastfeeding sounds painful in general, so I can’t imagine what an infection in that area could feel like.
Bell told Katie Lowes that her husband, Dax, actually had to step up and literally NURSE from her breast in order to make sure that his wife does not get an infection. The actress tells the story, saying that it happened in Atlanta where the couple could not find a doctor to help them. As Bell is telling the story, Katie is fully aware what direction this story is about to go. And she quickly gasps.
However, Kristen proceeds with her story, regardless if Katie was paying attention to it or not! She says, “So I said to my husband, ‘I really need you to suck this out. We could talk about it, we could be weird about it, or you could just go ahead and nurse”. Dax, being the man that he is, knew this was important. So he did exactly what his wife told him to do.
Without even thinking twice about it, Dax did what he had to do, and cleared out Kristen’s mastitis. She continued, “He had a cup next to him. He was pulling out and spitting into this cup, and I’ve never been more in love. In my life”. This isn’t the first time Kristen has had mastitis. In the episode, she notes that she had two different occasions where she had mastitis.
However, unlike this time, Kristen had to take medications for her previous ones, and she just isn’t a fan of taking pills. So I guess it was pretty lucky that this third time Dax was willing to do anything and everything to make sure she doesn’t have mastitis. It sounds pretty weird, but hey, it saved her so who are we to judge. Check out the episode down below. Just the way Kirsten tells the story is pretty hilarious. We love this couple!!
