Heads Up, Folks, The Bible Says That The World Is Going To End On June 24, 2018, Maybe

Well, it looks like it’s the end of the world, again. Yes, even though it’s been 2018 for less than a month, this time it’s a sure bet that the world will end on June 24. The new apocalypse prediction comes from a conspiracy theorist named Mathieu Jean-Marc Joseph Rodrigue.

According to Rodrigue, when he factored in the number of the beast (Iron Maiden fans will remember that it’s 666), with some of his earlier calculations and added 42 months (based on Bible passages), he came to the conclusion that the world ending cataclysm will destroy the Earth on June 24th.

However, there have been numerous apocalypse predictions that have not yet come true. The end of the world is continuously predicted, and yet the Earth keeps right on going. It seems like the only thing that’s predictable is that someone will say the world is going to end every year.

In 2016, a group known as “End Times Prophecies” predicted that Jesus would return and reverse Earth’s magnetic poles on June 29th, causing all kinds of global chaos. It seems he didn’t make it.

Just last year, the end of the world was supposed to come along with the lunar phenomenon known as the “black moon.” Even though nothing happened when there was one in March 2014.

There’s also the theory that the end of the world will happen when a rogue planet known as Planet X or Nibiru will smash into Earth. NASA does not endorse this theory.

Sometimes it’s not even an entire planet. Another world ending cataclysm was predicted when an asteroid was passing Earth. If it had hit us, there would have been trouble (spoiler: it didn’t).

The Bible seems to be a popular text for predicting the end of the world, despite the fact that the theorists who use it haven’t been right about the apocalypse yet.

Sometimes there’s a reason for the end of the world right here on Earth. Last year, theorists predicted that the eruption of a supervolcano was going to end all life on the planet.

While the extent of Mathieu Jean-Marc Joseph Rodrigue’s math has not been revealed, it will be pretty interesting to see what the excuse will be when the world refuses to end this time.

Everyone will just have to wait and see what happens on June 24th. If we’re all still here on June 25th, the safest prediction would be that the apocalypse is actually happening in November.
