“You know nothing Jon Snow” is a phrase most Games of Thrones fans are familiar with, but actor Kit Harington, aka Jon Snow, proves on The Jonathan Ross Show that he does, in fact, know something. That something is how to pull a successful April Fools prank on his co-star and fiancée Rose Leslie.
Harington decided to celebrate the holiday by pulling a fast one on the Scottish actress by leaving a scary surprise in the refrigerator. The Game of Thrones star dishes to the British talk-show host and fellow guest Liv Tyler that Rose Leslie’s reaction wasn’t what he anticipated and the actor will probably refrain from playing pranks in the future.
Harington and Leslie, both 30, began their on-and-off relationship back in 2012 while acting alongside one another in the hit HBO series, Game of Thrones. They made their red carpet debut as an official couple at London’s Olivier Awards in April 2016, and the lovely couple confirmed their engagement this September with a classified advertisement in the British publication, The Times.

Harington shared the hilarious video he took of his fiance opening the fridge, Brita filter in hand. Leslie screams and falls to the floor in a state of terror, but not before efficiently placing the water filter on the counter.

The star told the talk show host his family loves to participate in the holiday, while clearly, Leslie and her family do not. Harington then showed a picture of what Leslie found in the fridge: a man’s disgusting, severed head. Harington shamefully admits Leslie was in tears after the prank. No wonder!
After the incident, Harington says Leslie put her foot down. “She pretty much told me if I did it ever again, that would be it,” said Harington. “And I think that’s marriage included.”
