After Bank Denied Girl’s Card With Terry Crews On It, She Contacted Him Personally For Permission—Here’s How He Responded

Terry Crews is a 49-year-old actor, artist, and former American football player. He is now most known for being the face of Old Spice and he recently came forward with an accusation of sexual assault against a high-level Hollywood executive. But it was his role as Julius Rock on Everybody Hates Chris that generated the positive attention that Terry Crews is regularly known for.

When a young girl wanted to get Terry Crews’ picture on her debit card to sway her against unnecessary purchases, her bank declined her.

But like the hero that he is, Terry had to step in.

The girl, Darrel Kennedy, wanted to get Terry Crews as her background image on her new Wells Fargo platinum debit card.

In the show Everybody Hates Chris, Julius Rock (who is played by Terry Crews) is known to be an extremely frugal father, so Darrel wanted to get his stern look as the background image for her new card.

But unfortunately, Wells Fargo told her that they could not do it unless she got written consent from the actor himself.

So Darrel decided to go on Twitter to corral the attention of the actor. She tweeted: ‘they rejected my request because they said I needed written approval from Terry Crews. Can y’all RT or tag him so a girl can save some [money.]’

Terry quickly responded with his own tweet saying: ‘I approve. Signed, Terry Crews.’ He even tweeted a picture of his own face in his wallet to discourage financial splurging.

Darrel then went back on Twitter to update her followers. She said she called Wells Fargo where they ‘expedited the case.’

She wrote: ‘they’ve expedited the case and are sending it to Wells Fargo HQ to get it approved. Should have it in my hands in the next two weeks.’

In the end, people were glad that Darrel received her brand new, one of a kind, debit card and also see Terry Crews do Terry Crews things.
