Last week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot stopped by to talk about her favourite Halloween candy and how her oldest daughter sees the holiday.
Gadot revealed that her daughter, who turns six in November, will be celebrating her birthday in and around the same time as Halloween. She told Fallon how last year she and her family moved to the States, making it her daughter’s very first Halloween.
“It’s weird, you guys in America have wonderful holidays but it’s kind of crazy, right?” Gadot said. “Cause it’s all about consuming and consuming. So, Christmas everyone buys presents and then Halloween, everyone’s gotta buy tons of candy and then it’s okay for you to tell to your children to go knock on stranger’s door so they can give them candies.” Suffice to say, last year her daughter thought Halloween was pretty much the best thing to happen to her life.
The conversation then steered to Gadot and Fallon reminiscing about their favourite candy. He then brought out a chocolate bar called Shokolad Parah, which is a chocolate that fizzles in your mouth like pop rocks. The two then popped a piece into their mouths and got close to the microphone so the audience could hear the popping.
Fallon then revealed to the audience that Gadot has never tried Reese’s peanut butter cup, to which the audience obviously gasped. He then pulled out a package of Reese’s and the audience hollered in anticipation to see her reaction. “I can’t wait to see what happens,” Fallon said.
Walking into the experience, Gadot said she loved peanut butter but she had never tried it with chocolate before. They then took a cup each and the audience waited for her reaction.
Gadot took a couple of bites then nodded to the audience and gave a thumbs up. “That is really good,” she said. “How come I never tried it?”
