Restaurant Patron Whistles At Gordon Ramsay And He Responds By Calling Her A Dog

Good customer service is important, but so is treating people well that is in a customer service role. We have all been out for a nice meal and then something might not be quite up to our tastes but, for the most part, we don’t make a huge scene about it and politely confront the waiter.

Other people have more aggressive methods when it comes to the food they pay for. It is understandable where the frustration comes from, but as anyone who has worked in the service industry knows being mean to staff is not the best way to go about it.

Hell’s Kitchen is a reality show centred around British Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay. It’s a competition show where 12 to 20 aspiring chefs are eliminated weekly until the final winner is announced. The winner gets to be the head chef at a restaurant that Ramsay chooses, as well as $250,000.00. Not too shabby!

Each episode follows the same service, the chefs have to do a cooking challenge followed by dinner service. Restaurants are already fast-paced and full of drama, now add in a reality show being filmed during dinner and the chefs competing against each other. This was a winning formula for a lot of memorable scenes.

One of the most famous scenes from the reality show has to do with a lady who is not happy with her carpaccio. It is during the dinner service when all of the chefs are at their respective stations in the restaurant.

You can tell by her face that she’s not happy when she bites into the food, which prompts her to get up and talk to the back. She gets Chef Ramsay’s attention and says: “Totally flat, no flavour on the carpaccio. This is the second time I’ve had to reorder.”

She stands there, calling for Ramsay as he is running around the kitchen, and then makes the mistake of whistling at him to get his attention. Watch the video to see the drama unfold! Never whistle at a chef in his busy kitchen, especially Chef Gordon Ramsay.
