Kristen Bell is known for being completely candid about all the things that make her just like everyone else. From her relationship with her husband Dax Shepard to all the mom struggles, Bell is a breath of fresh air in Hollywood.

So between her relatable Instagram posts showing her fans what’s really involved in getting ready for any red carpet event (remember #buttpads?) to her opening up about her struggles with depression and anxiety, we can’t get enough of Kristen Bell, even if it’s just her talking about something as gross as anal worms.
Yup, you read that right. The Good Place actress was recently on The Joel McHale Show when the conversation suddenly turned to whether the actress may or may not have caught a certain parasitic worm. And trust us, it’s just as gross as it sounds.
“I did have anal worms two weeks ago. I swear to God. They’re called pinworms,” admitted Bell, “My kids have them.” The actress then made a point to say she wasn’t there to talk about pinworms before diving right into it. Bell set up the stage by explaining she caught the pinworms from her daughter, whose preschool decided to rip out all of their carpets. When Bell asked why the school revealed they had to get them cleaned because of an outbreak.

“You have to monitor it and look in their poop and when you wipe their butt, sure enough, I wiped and saw a little white worm,” explained Bell to the audience’s horror.
“And then I, later that day was like…” which Kristen Bell followed by a certain profanity we won’t repeat. Luckily, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star confirmed that only she and her daughter had caught the highly contagious parasitic worm before shaking the TV host’s hand. Oh, and when Joel asked if they were painful Bell replied, “No, but they are very itchy.”
