‘It: Chapter Two’ Confirms Grown Up Cast Of The Losers’ Club

For all those It fans out there, you better get excited. There have been some major announcements about the sequel to the 2017 horror remake, which made just over $700 million at the global box office. It: Chapter 2 will be arriving in cinemas on Sept. 6, 2019, and we have a synopsis of the film. It will take place 27 years after the first film and will see The Losers’ Club members all grown up and living very separate lives. Those lives remain separate until they receive a devastating phone call that requires them all to return to Derry, Maine.

What we know so far about the sequel is that director Andy Muschietti and screenwriter Gary Dauberman are returning once again. The Hollywood Reporter states that It: Chapter Two is scheduled to begin production in July in Toronto, Canada and is set to be released in theaters by Warner Bros. There have also been reports that the original cast of The Losers’ Club from the first film will be shown in flashbacks.

Yet It: Chapter 2 follows The Losers’ Club as adults, so there is a new cast needed for the film. We did some research and found out that all members of The Losers Club have already been cast. If you want to know who will be portraying your favorite loser check out the list below.

James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough: The Hollywood Reporter stated on April 12 that James McAvoy is in talks to play Bill Denbrough in the sequel, and since their report, IMDB has listed him as officially cast as Denbrough. Denbrough is the unpronounced leader of The Losers’ Club. McAvoy will play the adult Denbrough who has grown up to become a successful author. Jaeden Lieberher played the character in the first movie.

Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh: The Hollywood Reporter stated on April 12 that Jessica Chastain was in fact cast as Beverly Marsh in the sequel, and she has been added to the IMDB cast list for the film. Chastain will be playing the adult version of Marsh, who after years of living with her abusive father, ends up being in an abusive marriage. Sophia Lillis played.

Bill Hader as Richie Tozier: The Hollywood Reporter stated on April 12 that Bill Hader is in talks to play Richie Tozier in the sequel, and since then, IMDB has listed Hader as officially cast as Tozier. Hader will be playing the adult version of Tozier who is a DJ living in Beverly Hills. Finn Wolfhard played the character in the first film.

James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak: Vanity Fair states that James Ransone has been cast as Eddie Kaspbrak in the sequel, and he has since been added to the IMDB cast list for the film. Ransone will play the adult version of Kaspbrak who owns an extremely successful limousine company and has the job of driving many celebrities around New York. Jack Dylan Grazer played the character in the first film.

Andy Bean as Stan Uris: Vanity Fair states that Andy Bean has been cast as Stan Uris in the sequel, and Bean has since been added to the IMDB cast list for the film. Bean will be playing the adult version of Uris who has an extremely successful job as an accountant in Atlanta, Georgia and is in a happy marriage. Wyatt Oleff played the character in the first film.

Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise: According to The Hollywood Reporter‘s article on April 12, Bill Skarsgård will be returning as Pennywise for the sequel, he is also listed on IMDB’s cast list for the film. This comes as no surprise as Pennywise doesn’t age in the second part of Stephen King’s book.

Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon: Vanity Fair reported on June 9 that Isaiah Mustafa, aka the Old Spice commercial guy, will be playing the adult version of Mike Hanlon. And since the Vanity Fair announcement Mustafa has been added to the IMDB cast list. Mustafa will portray a man who has never left Derry, Maine and has become the town librarian. Chosen Jacobs played the character in the first film.

Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom: Vanity Fair has reported in an article on May 23 that Jay Ryan has been cast as the adult version of Ben Hanscom. And since the Vanity Fair announcement, Ryan has been added to the IMDB cast list. Ryan will portray a man who has changed substantially from his younger self and is reluctant to return to Derry, Maine. Jeremy Ray Taylor played the character in the first film.
