Stranger Drops Note In Her Lap, She Takes One Look At It And Then Starts Faking A Seizure

When you watch crime shows like Law and Order, you can’t help and wonder what you would do if you were in a stressful, even dangerous situation. How would you act? What would you do? All these questions start filling up your mind.

Well, for one woman, watching Law and Order actually came in handy. Julie Dragland was recently travelling on a commuter train as she always does in San Francisco. Everything seemed normal until she got a note.

Sounds like a scene from a movie, but as soon as she opened up this note she realized her life was in serious danger. The note was threatening, demanding that Julie hand over her phone and wallet. As she read the words, she became more and more disturbed.

She was sitting by herself when an unidentified female behind her handed her the note. Video surveillance revealed the woman’s appearance. According to news reports, the robber had long, strawberry blonde hair and looked as though she was in her 30s.

The letter read, “There are 2 guns pointed at you now. If you want to live hand back your wallet and phone now and do not turn around and be discreet.” It continued, “Do not turn around until after you have left the civic center and you will live”. If I was Julie, I would probably freak out. Big time. But in a moment of shock and fear, Julie didn’t freak out at all. In fact, she remained completely calm and collected and tried to figure out the best way to handle all this.

Julie didn’t turn around when she got this note. At first, she tried to quietly get the attention of a fellow passenger, but it didn’t work. That’s probably what a lot of us would try and do. But once that didn’t work, Julie decided to start a scene on the train. Genius. According to CBS SF Bay Area, Julie faked a seizure.

She made it look pretty realistic and acted as if she was passing out. She told the news outlet “I slumped over to the left and started shaking. And people started to notice.” According to Julie, people on the train began asking her if she was okay. Her plan worked.

Meanwhile, the unidentified robber got off the train and all that Julie can remember about her is that she was a white woman carrying a suitcase. But despite everything, Julie doesn’t want to file charges if the suspect is found since she wasn’t actually robbed.

According to news reports, no weapons were found on the train. She told news reports, “I think it had something to do with watching a lot of Law and Order. I think I saw that in an episode. I was very impressed with myself.”
