Wendy Williams’ Relationship With Husband Kevin Hunter

Author, fashion designer, and talk show host, Wendy Williams opened up about the rumours regarding her husband, Kevin Hunter, having an affair. Williams spoke about the rumours on her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show.

Williams is perhaps most known for her television program and several books that she’s written, including Hold Me in Contempt and the Ritz Harper chronicles. Her books have made her a best-selling author and The Wendy Williams show has been on air since 2008.

Her husband, Kevin Hunter, is a television producer and has been married to Williams since 1997. They also have a child together, Kevin Hunter Jr., who was born in 2000.

On her September 26 segment, Williams addressed the rumours that have been flying around regarding Hunter having an affair. “You can believe what you want, but…” At this point, she held up her wedding ring. “I stand by my guy.” She also called herself a straight shooter and acknowledged the articles that can easily be found simply by googling Hunter’s name.

She’s not wrong, either. A quick Google search leads you to countless articles regarding Hunter’s potential affair, including an article from Daily Mail, which claims that he is leading a double life with a 32-year-old massage therapist. Hollywood Life also presented a timeline following his alleged affair.

Don’t believe the hype and if there was hype, believe me, you, I would let you know,” Williams said on her show.

This isn’t the first time that Hunter has been accused of infidelity. In 2013, Williams gave an interview with VLAD TV admitting she found out about Hunter’s affair through a “late-night telephone call and some clandestine whispering.”

She added that she picked up the phone and heard some talking between her husband and another woman. “That was 12 years ago,” she said. “It has made our marriage—and I know this is cliché, but it’s true—it’s made our marriage stronger. No, I’m not back to the girl I was before him, because when you get stung like that, you never go back to who you were. Only a fool does.”

The duo has also been at the receiving end of a lawsuit. In 2008, a lawsuit was filed against them by a talent booker who claimed Hunter had made passes at her and physically abused Williams after hours. The couple denied the claims and the case was settled out of court.

She concluded her September 26 segment by joking that she’ll be following the stories and rumours for updates so “I guess I’ll have to watch and find out what happens.”
