Kate Hudson recently announced she was expecting her third child with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa.
In case you don’t know who Danny Fujikawa is, we’re here to give you the 411. Danny Fujikawa is the former singer and guitarist for the band Chief. Danny also launched his own record label, Lightwave Records, in 2013. If this sounds a little familiar, Hudson was previously linked to another musician, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, until they called off their engagement in 2014.
Kate Hudson made her red carpet debut with Danny back in May of last year when they attended the ‘Snatched’ premiere arm-in-arm. Kate was there supporting her mother Goldie Hawn, who co-starred alongside Amy Schumer in the hilarious flick, and Kate was all smiles and PDA with her new beau.
Kate shared in an Instagram post that she and Fujikawa actually met when she was 23 and ‘enormously pregnant with Ryder’. She also shared that she has been best friends with Danny’s step-sisters, Sara and Erin, for nearly a decade and had considered him family before taking a hike together and realizing it was a date. When asked to talk about her new man, Kate gushed to Extra, ‘He’s the best!’
Kate shocked everyone when she revealed on social media she was pregnant with her third child, the first for her and Danny (the actress already has two boys, 14-year-old Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and 6-year-old Bingham with former fiancé Matt Bellamy). Then came another shocking revelation when she posted a gender reveal video! Kate is seen in a beautiful white dress as her family and friends count down before she and Danny pop large black balloons revealing many smaller pink ones; they’re having a girl! The 38-year-old was obviously thrilled in the video that a little girl is joining the family.
Kate Hudson then shared a picture revealing her baby bump and none other than Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler holding it tight while smiling at the camera. The 70-year-old gave some love to Hudson’s bundle of joy over the weekend, and Kate managed to capture the sweet moment in an Instagram post.
The ‘Deep Horizon’ actress wrote in the caption, ‘Baby girl got some good hugs from Papa Tyler this weekend.’ Kate tagged both Steven and his daughter Liv Tyler, who is a close childhood friend of the star.
