A Reddit user by the name of LearnedButt shared a ridiculous story of a first-hand account of what his family calls a “poop knife.” LearnedButt started off by saying “My family poops big. Maybe it’s genetic, maybe it’s our diet, but everyone births giant logs of crap.” It sounds ridiculous, but the story has internet users rallying behind him.
LearnedButt continued his ridiculous story, by saying “Growing up, this was a common enough occurrence that our family had a poop knife. It was an old rusty kitchen knife that hung on a nail in the laundry room, only to be used for that purpose.” Ever heard of a poop knife before? Don’t worry. Neither had half of the internet!
After the story was shared, it quickly went viral across the internet. LearnedButt went on to recount an experience while defecating at a friend’s house, where his entire life he had spent at home thinking a “poop knife” was something that everyone had. When LearnedButt asked his friend for his own poop knife after committing a massive dookie, LearnedButt’s friend simply said: “WTF is a poop knife?”
LearnedButt went on to say that after his friends laughed at him when he made this request, “It turns out that none of them had poop knives.” So what is it exactly that causes certain problems in the bowels that requires LearnedButt’s family to use a knife?
Well, in this case, it could be any number of things. For LearnedButt, it could be simply a matter of genetics in how his digestive system processes food.
It could be a sign of an extremely high fibre diet from fruits or vegetables that contain fibres that don’t get broken down very much. On the other hand, it could also be a sign that LearnedButt does not drink enough fluids, causing his digestive tract and anus to not be well lubricated.
At any rate, whatever is causing this ridiculous amount of doodie has made for a very humorous and viral story.
