During the 2018 Oscars ceremony, Jennifer Lawrence gave us another glimpse into her quirky personality. Jennifer could be seen holding onto a glass of white wine all the while hurdling over a seat to get to her appointed chair. She made headlines all over social media after she was pictured clutching onto her metallic Dior dress while hurdling over a seat to get to her appointed seat next to her BFF, Emma Stone.
Jennifer Lawrence has never shied away from the spotlight and has always been upfront with her lifestyle. As reported by the Daily Mail, she admitted to getting so drunk at a Red Sparrow premier that she looked like a ‘goth queen on c**ck.’
According to her IMDb page, the 27-year-old’s films have grossed more than five and a half billion dollars worldwide. In the years of 2015 and 2016, she was the highest paid actress in the world.
The spokesperson of Dior rocked the 2018 red carpet with loose curls, a dark ‘vampy’ makeup and some modelesque poses. She was photographed chatting it up with stars such as Steven Spielberg, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Plummer and Meryl Streep.
But the most adorable moment of the night had to have been when she poked fun at her BFF Emma Stone after Jimmy Kimmel joked about the previous year’s gaffe during the Best Picture nominations. Jennifer Lawrence could be seen pointing and laughing at her friend as Jimmy Kimmel remarked on the 2017 Oscars and she could even be seen enthusiastically slapping her knee as the camera panned to Emma.
And social media quickly remarked on how the two BFFs have long been poking fun at one another under the public eye. Just last year, Emma recorded Jennifer with half a face of makeup and the other half not done and she could be heard in the background laughing at her friend. Jennifer said: ‘you told me that you wanted me to be your date to the after parties so I got us tickets to some after parties, I booked a car and I was halfway through glam when you told me that you didn’t want to go and you just wanted to come over to my house. So I sent my hair and make-up team home and now this is what I look like.’
But J-Law hasn’t always been so smooth on the red carpet. In 2012, when she won the best actress award, she stumbled up the stairs as she went to receive her award and the very next year she tripped over a traffic cone while on the red carpet.
