Khloé Kardashian has finally broken her silence following the cheating scandal surrounding her boyfriend and newborn daughter’s father, Tristan Thompson.
All seemed well for the Kardashian clan; Kim K‘s surrogate gave birth back in January to her third child, Chicago West. Youngest sister Kylie Jenner secretly gave birth to a child a month later and posted an emotional video sharing her pregnancy journey with boyfriend Travis Scott.
Khloé Kardashian seemed next in line to have her happily ever after. The 33-year-old announced she was expecting her first child with Canadian basketball player Tristan Thompson back in December. But just a few days before the Kardashian sister gave birth, stories broke of Tristan’s alleged philandering ways with video evidence to prove it.
Cheating accusations against the Cleveland Cavaliers player started after a woman claimed she’d spent the night with Tristan in NYC. The woman then uploaded and quickly deleted an alleged sex tape as well as some raunchy Instagram messages to prove it. Following the accusations, multiple sources have piled on plenty of other evidence pertaining to Tristan’s questionable behavior.
Not one but two videos showed the basketball player at different points in their relationship making moves on other women. In a series of surveillance clips posted by TMZ, Tristan is seen locking lips with two unidentified women back in October, two months before the couple announced they were having a baby.
A source told ‘Entertainment Tonight’ Khloé is devastated by the news: ‘Tristan is a man Khloé built a life with and saw as her forever.’ Some people, however, are not shocked by the news of Tristan’s alleged infidelity, pointing out he left his former pregnant girlfriend, Jordan Craig, to be with Khloé.
Now Khloé Kardashian has finally broken her silence following the cheating accusations with an Instagram post confirming her baby girl’s name, True. In light of the recent scandal, commentators can’t help but point out the irony in naming her daughter True Thompson. Although she hasn’t addressed the cheating scandal directly, her post definitely suggests all is well between mom and dad. Posting a picture of pink balloons, Khloé’s caption reads, ‘Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!’
