After Taking A Year Off Since Son’s Diagnosis, Michael Buble And His Wife Confirm The Rumors

Having a child is said to be one of the most precious gifts in life. If and when anything happens to someone’s child, the level of care and attention cannot be put into words. For Michael Buble and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, they experienced an early and devastating scare upon learning of their son Noah’s diagnosis.

In November of 2016, the couple had announced that their son was diagnosed with liver cancer hepatoblastoma. Upon learning of this news, Michael Buble immediately canceled all of his upcoming gigs in order to take care of his son, who was due to be undergoing four months of chemotherapy to recover from his illness, according to The Sun. Releasing a Facebook statement together, the couple revealed they were “devastated”, however, they were optimistic in vowing “We will win this battle.”

Fortunately for the couple, just a few months later in February 2017, there was much better news to reveal. “We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy,” Buble told Us Weekly.

Michael’s wife, Luisana, had recently opened up about her son’s illness. She told The Sun “When things like those that happened to us occur, you take on life’s changes” following with “It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today.” Luisana took the opportunity to thank people for their support, prayers, and their love, during a very difficult time for the Buble family.

According to ET Online, the family are in a much better place now after experiencing a “tense” time following the diagnosis, but reveal that their son is “doing very well”, and “he’s an energetic little boy!” The experience is said to have brought the whole family closer together, and really put things into perspective. As for the singer himself, a source told ET Online that Buble is back to his old self, and “in a really good head space right now.” After taking nearly a year off to spend time with his family, the singer is now ready and excited to continue his upcoming projects and gigs ahead.

Luisana’s brother, actor Dario Lopilato, confirmed in an interview with La Nacion that “after these very long months, Noah is doing well, very well.” The family got to celebrate Noah’s 4th birthday in style, planning a Spiderman-themed birthday bash for the courageous young boy who bravely fought his illness.

Although Buble is slated for concert performances and upcoming shows that he is eager to be a part of, a source told ET that family continues to be his top priority and that he doesn’t want to be on the road for a large chunk of time. Michael has certainly been blown away by the support provided by his fans, he revealed to The Sun. The couple proudly has stated that “the worst is over” for their little boy, after a challenging battle in his truly young life. Furthermore, the couple excitedly revealed at this past Juno Awards that they were expecting their third child together, with brighter days certainly ahead for the Buble family.
