22. Ulysses S. Grant (1869-1877)
Ulysses S. Grant previously held the highest position in the military before being elected as the 18th President of the United States. Grant was best regarded by surveyees for his pursuit of equal justice, but was also well-received for his public persuasion, international relations, and moral authority.
