Robert Griffin III is an NFL player and the 28-year-old quarterback recently got married to Grete Seiko. The 24-year-old from Estonia is a heptathlete, which is a track and field competition that is made up of seven different events. Her best performance was at the 2010 World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada where she placed fourth with her best record of 5705 points which was just one point shy of third place.
It was on Saturday when the pair tied the knot in an extravagant wedding in Miami, Florida. And of course, the happy couple had to showcase their gorgeous wedding pictures on social media. In one photo, the couple can be seen standing in a large room with crystals on the ceiling, white roses sprinkled everywhere and purple lights to match the couple’s wedding theme.
Robert went on Instagram to write: ‘first name Grete, Last name Griffin. All I ever wanted to be for you is your hero. It turns out that all along, you were mine.’ Robert rocked the wedding with a blue suit and a matching blue tie with silver Christian Louboutins while his wife wore a white lace gown with a plunging neckline by Berta.
The couple started off their lavish ceremony, which was organized by wedding planner Tiffany Cook, with a four-tiered wedding cake with white and pink edible roses down the side. Their wedding photographs were captured by Martha Ramirez of UDS Photo and they also got to use a specialty lightbox which is very akin to the one that was used at the Met Gala. The lightbox allowed the couple to make their own music video to the song God’s Plan by Drake.
A day after getting married the couple went to Miami Beach to celebrate their life together. The couple was playing some volleyball on the beach and TMZ snapped a picture of the newlyweds getting cozy with one another.
It was just last year on July 2nd when the couple gave birth to their first daughter, Gloria Griffin. Robert praised his fiancee at the time by saying: ‘your mommy is incredible! The way she pushed through delivering you into the world was the stuff of legend. Very simply put, Your mom is a certified baller!!!’
Grete shared the love by praising her partner: ‘trying to make me laugh every way possible and keeping me entertained through all the pain and doing everything to make me smile and get through this. You deserve a medal baby!’
