Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are proof that love always finds a way, if they love you they’ll come back, love is all about timing…pretty much any sappy love slogan you hoped was true. Recently the couple was spotted at an Oscar Party, looking amazing, and we can’t get over how good they look!
The two met while playing love interests in the ‘The Last Song’, a 2009 film based on the romance novel by Nicholas Sparks. Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus dated on and off for several years before getting serious in June 2012; Miley was 19 years old when 23-year-old Liam proposed. Everyone thought their love was forever, but alas, in Hollywood all good things must come to an end.
In September 2013, after speculation their relationship was on the rocks, her rep confirmed the engagement was called off. A day later, Liam was seen kissing Eiza Gonzalez, the stunning Mexican actress we now know as Darling in ‘Baby Driver’, and everyone’s hopes and dreams were officially crushed. But, jokes on us! After a wild streak from Miley in which she produced the emotionally-charged album Bangerz, the couple reunited in 2015. By 2016, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were out in the open and the wedding ring was back on. Everyone thought it was too good to be true but the two have been together ever since!
Although they do appear to be keeping their relationship on the DL this time, now and then the two will show some PDA or share some sweet words for their partner on social media. One such occasion is the Oscar after parties, where the two showed off their strong bond on more than one red carpet. The couple utilized the Oscars as a date-night opportunity, attending the Vanity Fair after-party looking very ‘classic Hollywood glam.’ The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer wore a black and champagne dress by Prabal Gurung with a red lip, while Liam looked dapper in a black tux. Liam wasn’t kidding when he captioned this photo ‘spicy’.
It gets cuter. The couple had already started celebrating at Elton John AIDS Foundation viewing party, where they took these stunning photos together. The lovebirds looked happier than ever in this Instagram post from Miley.
Liam stuck with the black tux while Miley chose a statement pink sparkly Moschino gown. The 25-year-old also shared a photo of the two of them with Elton John himself, with Miley captioning the photo ‘My favorite men :)’.
Liam Hemsworth once told ‘Men’s Fitness’, ‘You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose.’ Let’s hope these two choose each other forever because we can never get tired of seeing them together!
