Even though Eric was a relatively young teacher it wouldn’t be something that was okay to happen in movies today. The reason for this is because there’s a lot of talk about changing the age difference between men and women in on-screen relationships so they are relatively the same age. Another reason is that in real life this would be completely unacceptable.
