4. Paper Dresses: A lot of crazy things happened in the 1960’s, and one of them was the advent of paper clothing. In 1966, the Scott Paper Company released a set of paper dresses, and the trend soon caught on. While it lasted, you could also buy vests, underwear, bridal gowns and (shudder) bikinis.
